ATEX’s grassroots exploration program focuses on the staking and subsequent exploration of high sulphidation precious metals properties in northern Chile using techniques developed by ATEX’s management team which have proven successful resulting in a number of significant precious metal deposits discoveries.
The first pass exploration programs determine if the geological conditions are favourable to warrant more extensive exploration activities. When the results of preliminary property examination are positive, further exploration is undertaken with the emphasis on defining targets. When the conditions are not met, the claims are allowed to expire. ATEX staked and reviewed six properties in 2021 and currently the Company two properties have been retained as they warrant further exploration.
Below is an example of the satellite spectrometry survey results which, when combined with in-house analyses, form the basis of ATEX`s property selection criteria.
